My modalities
By blending the following approaches with a creative, flexible mindset, I tailor the work to what feels most helpful for you. Whether you’re dealing with a specific issue or just looking for a safe space to explore your emotions, the therapeutic relationship is at the heart of the process. It’s a collaborative journey, and my goal is always to help you move towards healing, understanding, and growth.
Person-Centred Therapy
In person-centred therapy, I walk alongside you as you lead the way. My role is to provide a supportive, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. I believe that you are the expert in your own life, and my goal is to help you tap into your inner strength and wisdom. By fostering a warm, empathetic, and accepting environment, I aim to create a trusting relationship that empowers you to make choices, work through challenges, and find your own path forward. It’s about being with you, as you navigate the ups and downs, and offering the guidance and space for you to develop a deeper sense of self-understanding and growth.
Psychodynamic Therapy
In psychodynamic therapy, we focus on uncovering the deeper layers of your experiences, often looking back at childhood events and early relationships to understand how they may be influencing your present life. This approach helps identify patterns of behavior or thinking that may have developed over time, often unconsciously, and can sometimes create feelings of frustration or confusion. By becoming more aware of these patterns, we work towards understanding their roots and exploring them with compassion. The aim is to foster self-awareness and self-compassion, allowing you to break free from past influences and develop healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.
